REGISTRATIONS FOR THE 2018 SEASON

With pre-season trainings, trials, and tournaments well and truly underway, we thought it would be a great time to remind the wider footballing community to register to play for 2018. We have an exciting season ahead and we want you to be a part of it.

If you haven’t caught up with the news, NZ Football have released a new National Registration System, COMET. All players will need to ensure that they are registered to play with their club through MyComet, which is their individual member profile.

If you haven’t received your MyComet details via email, use the MyComet Lookup to get them sent direct to you. If you have any issues with this process, please get in touch with our team via an email to info@capitalfootball.org.nz

At this time we would like to thank members of the footballing community for getting registered on Comet for the first time and a special thanks to all club administrators for the time spent on Comet to ensure members are ready to go for the season ahead. These volunteers are the making the transition easier for all involved and we couldn’t do what we do without them.

Capital Football is excited by the opportunity Comet brings to the game here in the wider Wellington Region. Prospects such as online team-cards for our Premier Grades will be just one of the massive benefits moving forward as we continue to improve all aspects of the administration of football for the whole community.

The 2018 Season will begin on the weekend of the 7th and 8th April for all grades, except Men’s Central League and Capital Premier who will start on Easter Monday (2nd April) and Wairarapa Juniors (5th May).

For a lists of clubs in the Capital Football Region please visit our Club Directory or, for Club Advertisements, visit our Club Noticeboard.

Regardless of whether you’re a competitive, social, or first time player there is always a place for you in our game. Therefore, we want you to get in to Football for 2018 and be a part of the beautiful game here in the Capital.
