For the first time, Capital Football is pleased to announce registrations are now open for the Junior Level 3 coaching award to be held at the Petone Football Clubrooms, Bracken Street, Petone.

This 5 day coaching course will equip coaches with the relevant skills to be able to effect the technical and tactical development of junior players through New Zealand Football’s new “Skill Acquisition Methodology.”

The course content will be delivered by New Zealand Football Junior Development Manager Owain Prosser and is directly linked to the Skills Centre curriculum – a development programme for the most talented nine to 12-year-olds – and will further reinforce the National Body’s wider vision and philosophy on coaching.

The course includes theoretical and practical elements with staff & candidate-led seminars, with practical demonstrations highlighting world’s best practice.
