NZF FUN-damentals of Junior Coaching – Practical

The Fun-damentals of Junior Coaching Award is for Team Leaders working with 4-9 year old players. Leading a team of 4-9 year olds is an enjoyable and rewarding experience. You can foster a lifelong love of the game and provide a foundation of skill and movement development for the next generation of players. Often in this age group, our Team Leaders wear many hats, acting as coaches, referees and chief fun officers! This course will provide valuable information on how to juggle the demands of training and Game Day and get the best out of this exciting age group.​​​​​​​

NZF Junior Level 2 - Practical

The Junior Level Two Coaching Award is designed for coaches working with 9–13 year old players and is ideal for those looking to deepen their understanding of how to meet the needs of their young players during this Skill phase. The course covers a range of modules focused on key knowledge and skills, and concludes with a practical session that brings this learning together.

NZF Youth Level 1 - Practical

This course covers the basics of coaching the 13-19 year old age groups. As a coach of this age group, you will begin to introduce team development while building on the skills built in earlier phases of development. This course will help you provide safe and inclusive environments that provide the right conditions for the growth and enjoyment of the game.

NZF Youth Level 2 - Practical

The Youth Level Two Coaching Award is designed for coaches working with players aged 13–19. It’s tailored for those looking to build a deeper understanding of how to support and develop players during the team-focused phase of their journey.

The course covers a range of modules that focus on key knowledge and coaching skills, before finishing with a practical component that brings everything together in a hands-on setting.
