Capital Football are delighted to welcome Georgina Gatenby as the new Women’s Football Manager. Georgina joins us from New Zealand Football where she held the title of Competitions Manager – Women and Futsal for a little over 2 years.

Georgina has been heavily involved in the recent Women’s World Cup here in New Zealand and the Women’s U20 World Cup in Costa Rica as a Match Co-Coordinator for FIFA. Over her period at New Zealand Football which began in late 2021, Geogina has played an integral part in the delivery of 11 senior international matches here in New Zealand, as well as delivering the expanded and revised women’s National League.

With the momentum that women’s football has, especially following the World Cup, Capital Football are pleased to have someone of Georgina’s calibre and experience leading the Women’s space within our region.

We look forward to Georgina beginning her role with Capital Football on Monday 11^th March 2024.
