It is with regret that we share the sad news that Megan Tasker, Life Member Barry Tasker’s daughter passed away last week. She has been incredibly brave and strong over the past few months with the aim of beating her fight with cancer. Megan passed surrounded by loved ones at Monash Hospital in Melbourne on 13 September. Our thoughts and prayers are with Barry and his wife Ingrid, their children and grandchildren at this very sad time.

There will be a service commemorating Megan’s life following her return to NZ with the family.

The Tasker family have also asked us to pass on their sincere thanks to everyone who has been so generous donating to Megan’s Give a Little page in recent weeks, the outpouring of generosity has been overwhelming and they are very grateful for the support.

Venue: Lychgate Chapel, cnr Burgess & Johnsonville Roads, Johnsonville

The family invite you to stay afterwards and share your memories of Megan over a cup of tea.

Following refreshments the family will depart to for a private cremation.
