Capital Football Says Goodbye To Bryant, Welcome Back To Lawrence

Capital Football is sad to inform that Todd Bryant, Assistant Federation Development Manager will be leaving the organisation when we break for Christmas. Todd has decided to take the opportunity to see the World and travel overseas. Whilst we are disappointed that Todd is leaving, we wish him all the very best with the move. Todd has been an absolute credit to Capital Football in his time in the role, leading the Futsal programme through a period of incredible growth during his almost three years in the role. Todd has an incredible passion for Futsal which coupled with his strategic acumen has no doubt helped facilitate the successful launch of the game in the Hutt Valley and Porirua regions during this time.

In saying goodbye to Todd, we are delighted to welcome back Natalie Lawrence as his replacement. Natalie will be familiar to the Capital Football family having worked for us with such distinction before a move across the Atlantic to Canada four years ago. Natalie felt it was time to return “home” to Wellington earlier this year and with the partnership secured between Capital Football and Team Wellington Youth took up the Head Coach position. Natalie’s coaching credentials are superb with a OFC/NZF A Licence Award under her belt and tremendous experience most recently with the Vancouver Whitecaps Girls Elite REX U16’s and Academy Head Coach.

Natalie has a wonderful football background and is going to be a fine addition to the Capital Football team. Commented Capital Football, Federation Development Manager, Steeve Sharpe “we are sorry to see Todd Bryant leave us, who has been an outstanding role model for Futsal, not only in the region but throughout the Country. We offer him our best wishes in traveling overseas. At the same time we are absolutely thrilled to welcome a replacement into the organisation as strong and credible as Natalie Lawrence. Natalie is already well known throughout the region and will fit in seamlessly to our team at Capital Football and the ethos which we work to.”

Natalie will begin transitioning into her role immediately, which presents a great handover opportunity with Todd. As a result of Natalie returning there will be a some changes to the roles and responsibilities of Federation Development staff and these will be communicated for the beginning of 2019.
