Capital Football welcomes Hyslop

Capital Football would like to welcome Liam Hyslop to the operations department. Liam has accepted the position of Junior Operations, filling the role Blair Duncan vacated as he moved into the senior space.

Liam, a self-proclaimed football tragic, brings with him an exception skill set that Duncan, Capital Football Operations Manager, is extremely excited to have join the team.

“Liam has a fantastic range of skills and brings unique experiences that we think will be a great asset for not only the operations department but Capital Football and its members as a whole”.

Liam has previously worked as an accomplished journalist with Stuff and Fairfax Media, covering everything from football to basketball and rugby, reporting on top tier teams such as the Wellington Phoenix, Hurricanes and the Wellington Saints. He has international experience; spending time covering and being involved with major events and games such as the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the All Blacks and All Whites and is looking forward to making the transition into sports administration and operations.

"I'm very excited by the opportunity to work at Capital Football. I'm a football tragic at heart and I'm looking forward to working with all the hard-working volunteers out there in the football community."

Liam will begin with the team in early March. For more information please contact Blair Duncan at Blair@captialfootball.org.nz.
